FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
April 21, 2006
The Republican Club of Greater Reston hosted the first debate of the primary season tonight at Lake Anne Community Center.
Two candidates are vying for the Republican nomination in the Eighth Congressional District and the right to face increasingly unpopular incumbent Jim Moran (D-8th) on November 7, 2006 in the General Election.
RCGR Vice-President John Palatiello moderated the lively debate, which was taped by Channel 28 and will be replayed several times over the next two weeks.
Both candidates proved themselves to be worthy of the legacy of Ronald Reagan by vowing to work to support the eventual nominee. Eight terms of Moran are enough!
Be sure to vote in the June 13, 2006 Republican Primary and lend your support to one of these two fine candidates!
